Colorado ARES Training Courses
There are five on-line (and free) training courses which are required for all Colorado ARES members before being deployed. These courses serve as the baseline training standard.
First are four FEMA Incident Command System (ICS) courses. These are standard issue courses in the emergency communications world, for volunteers and paid professionals alike.
If you do not already have a FEMA SID number you will need to get one to register and participate in any FEMA training.
